Mina Protocol integrates Celestia modular data availability layer to increase zkApps throughput
According to ChainCatcher news, the zero-knowledge proof public chain Mina Protocol announced a cooperation with the modular blockchain project Celestia. The Mina ecosystem will integrate Celestia’s modular decentralized data availability (DA) solution.
It is reported that the integration project is led by Geometry Research, the zk-SNARKs pioneer team, and receives technical support from o1Labs.
In addition, by introducing Celestia’s DA solution, Mina’s zkApps will gain significant capacity improvements, especially when processing large-scale off-chain data, the throughput of zkApps will be further improved. This cooperation also coincides with Mina’s upcoming mainnet upgrade, which will bring an easier-to-use zkApp programming model and is expected to significantly increase developer activity and the number of products in the Mina ecosystem.
