BlackRock CEO: Tokens are like digital contracts, the concept of tokenization will completely change financial ownership and investment
According to CNBC, Larry Fink, CEO of asset management giant BlackRock, hopes that all assets (from stocks to bonds and real estate) can be traded online on the blockchain. He stated that the concept of "tokenization" will completely change financial ownership and investment; every asset can be tokenized.
Larry Fink added that unlike traditional paper certificates symbolizing financial ownership, tokens can safely exist on the blockchain for instant purchase, sale and transfer without paperwork or waiting - much like digital contracts.
