Wormhole Protocol Announces Local Token Airdrops
Cross-chain protocol Wormhole has announced a local token airdrop. According to the release, the token will use "W" as its transaction code, with a maximum supply of 10 billion and an initial "circulating supply" of 1.8 billion. The digital assets will be allocated to the following groups: guardian nodes, community and startup, ecosystem and incubation, core contributors, strategic network participants, and foundation reserves. 82 per cent of the tokens will be initially locked up and then released within four years, Wormhole added. According to the release, the protocol will use the native ERC-20 and SPL token formats.
