The second $30 million capital call proposal of Mantle EcoFund, an ecological investment fund, was approved with a 100% approval rate
According to the Snapshot page, the second capital call and governance process update proposal (MIP-29) proposed by Mantle EcoFund has been approved by community vote with a support rate of 100%. As per the proposal, a second capital call will be made for an amount of $30 million (denominated in USDC), to be allocated from the Mantle treasury. The proposal also suggests expanding the investment scope of Mantle EcoFund to selectively invest in accelerators, incubators, startup studios, and funds to promote the growth of high-quality, innovative early-stage projects within the Mantle ecosystem. It is reported that this proposal was jointly put forward by Mirana Ventures and the core contributors team of Mantle with an aim to review the initial $10 million investment situation following authorization under MIP-24 for establishing a $100 million Mantle EcoFund while proposing changes to existing governance processes and expanding investment authorization scope.
