U.S. inflation rises, U.S. stocks fall
Jin10 reported on April 10 that the three major U.S. stock indexes opened lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell nearly 1%, the S&P 500 Index fell 1.07%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 1.2%. The previously announced CPI data for March fully exceeded expected. Gold miner stocks fell back, with Cordair Mining (CDE.N) falling more than 7%. Most star technology stocks were lower, with Nvidia (NVDA.O) falling about 1.4%.
