Eigenlayer releases whitepaper on GitHub, EIGEN acts as universal intersubjective work token
April 30, 2011 - Eigenlayer published a whitepaper on GitHub and introduced the structure of the EIGEN token.EIGEN can act as a generic intersubjective work token (intersubjective work token). Work tokens are tokens that require collateralization (i.e., locking) to perform certain work. EIGEN enhances the set of Active Verification Services (AVS) that can be protected by EigenLayer, and has a fully complementary role to ETH, i.e., ETH pledges support objective fault reduction and EIGEN pledges support intersubjective fault reduction.
