LayerZero releases Protocol RFP proposal, confirming the first step of TGE allocation
LayerZero Labs has released a Protocol RFP proposal in the community, marking the first step in finalizing the TGE allocation. It indicates that developers are the lifeline of LayerZero and this RFP allows each project to set its own allocation standards based on its overall token distribution situation. In addition, LayerZero also requires each team to provide developer addresses to ensure that development teams directly receive 10% allocated to developers. The proposal shows that all projects deployed OApp, OFT or ONFT contracts on the mainnet before Snapshot #1 and declared them on LayerZero Scan are eligible to submit proposals. An example of project allocation is: 50% allocated to cross-chain OFT users, 20% allocated to LPs, 15% allocated to token holders, and 15% allocated to community members. Meanwhile, the LayerZero Foundation will screen according to the final witch report; witch addresses will automatically lose their eligibility for allocation. LayerZero points out that Protocol RFP is just one aspect of TGE; more information about token distribution (including single user allocations and future protocol distributions) will be announced soon.
