The three major U.S. stock indexes collectively opened higher, with GameStop up more than 50%
The Dow opened up 0.2%, the Nasdaq rose 0.36%, and the S&P 500 rose 0.2%. Star technology stocks Apple rose 1.3%, Tesla rose 0.91%, and Google-A fell 2.6%. Meme stocks strengthened, GameStop rose by more than 50%, and AMC Cinemas surged by nearly 21%.
