Bitcoin options open interest rose 35.9% in July, while ethereum options open interest saw a similar rise, up 7.1%, according to data from TheBlock Pro. Bitcoin's monthly options trading volume reached $56.9 billion, up 31.9 percent, while ethereum options trading volume fell 8.1 percent, down to $15.5 billion. In crypto futures, July open interest in bitcoin futures rose 15.6%; open interest in ethereum futures fell 5.6%; bitcoin futures trading volume increased 65% in July, falling to $1.66 trillion, and ethereum futures trading volume increased 43.1%. Additionally, open interest in bitcoin futures on the ChiNext increased 13.5% in July, bouncing up to $10.6 billion, and average daily volume increased 12.3%, rising to approximately $5.05 billion. Average monthly trading volume in July for ethereum futures rose sharply to $755.5 billion, up 43.1%.
