Former Coin Security Executive Hon Ng Joins Bitget as Chief Legal Officer
Bitget announced the appointment of Hon Ng, a former CoinSec executive, as Chief Legal Officer (CLO). Hon Ng will play a key role in leading the company's global business development, assisting Bitget as it continues to advance its global compliance operations and expand its global strategy.
Hon Ng has more than 20 years of legal experience and has been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the top 20 legal leaders in the world. Prior to joining Bitget, he served as general counsel and head of government affairs and policy at CoinOne. Prior to that, he worked at Uber, where he helped grow the company from a successful startup IPO to a global technology giant. Prior to entering the tech sector, Hon Ng worked as a corporate and M&A lawyer at law firms Latham & Watkins, White & Case, and Herbert Smith Freehills.
