August 17 news, the representative lawyer of Roman Sterlingov, founder of cryptocurrency mixer BitcoinFog, opposed a "long-term" prison sentence after his money laundering charges were established. In a document submitted to the District Court of Columbia in the United States on August 15th, Sterlingov's legal team did not seem to make specific sentencing suggestions against prosecutors' request for him to serve 20 to 30 years in prison. They claimed that based on similar case sentences, the government's suggestion is "baseless".
