Circle: Native USDC is now live on Sui Network
PANews reported on October 9th that stablecoin issuer Circle announced on platform X, native USDC is now live on the Sui network, making it natively supported on 16 blockchain networks. Circle wrote: "Sui is a Layer-1 blockchain designed for scalability, speed and affordability. It's also the first to support native USDC using Move programming language. In the Sui mainnet, there exists a bridged form of USDC called wUSDC which comes from Ethereum bridged USDC. Circle encourages developers and users to migrate to 'native' USDC - this is the official form of USDC issued by Circle on the Sui mainnet, backed 100% by highly liquid cash and cash equivalent assets and can always be exchanged at a ratio of 1:1 with USD."
