Aave Community Launches Vote on “Add EIGEN to Aave v3 on Main EtherNet” Temperature Check Proposal

On October 10th, the Aave community launched a temperature-checked proposal to add EIGEN to Aavev3 on the main EtherNet, which will close on October 13th, according to the Snapshot governance page. The proposal aims to add EigenLayer's native token, EIGEN, to the main EtherNet Aave v3. Through this integration, Aave users will be able to offer and borrow EIGEN, thus increasing the utility and liquidity of Eigen Layer tokens within the DeFi ecosystem, and in particular within the Aave ecosystem.
