Trader Peter Brandt: If Bitcoin fails to reach its all-time high, the price could potentially drop by 75%
Renowned trader and chart analyst Peter Brandt warns Bitcoin investors of potential downside risks as market trends indicate. He points out that Bitcoin has not hit a new high for 30 consecutive weeks, a situation which historically often leads to price drops of over 75%.
Brandt remains optimistic, predicting that the price of Bitcoin will reach $135,000 by August or September 2025. However, he also cautions that if Bitcoin falls below $48,000, his analysis would be invalidated and the market would need to be reassessed. Brandt further emphasizes that Bitcoin's upward momentum typically occurs in the latter half of its four-year halving cycle. (news.bitcoin)
