OpenAI is in talks to raise new funds of 40 billion US dollars
According to the Wall Street Journal citing informed sources, ChatGPT manufacturer OpenAI is in early talks with investors to raise $40 billion in a new round of financing. The new funding would value this artificial intelligence (AI) giant at $340 billion. This could be a good sign for cryptocurrencies related to artificial intelligence, as after the rise of competitor DeepSeek deflated some of the industry's bubble, OpenAI's valuation has almost doubled, which will bring some confidence to the industry.
