Howard Lutnick: Trump is very interested in Bitcoin strategic reserves, other tokens may receive different treatment
The U.S. crypto reserve may be announced at the first White House crypto summit on Friday, said U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. He stated that Trump is very interested in a Bitcoin strategic reserve, and other tokens might receive different treatment. Under Trump's plan, he revealed that Bitcoin will have a "unique status".
Howard Lutnick added: The Bitcoin strategic reserve is something the President is interested in. He talked about it during his campaign, and I think you'll see it implemented on Friday. So Bitcoin is one thing; other currencies, other crypto tokens - I believe they will get different treatment - positive but different" (Theblock).
