The Texas, USA Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Bill SB 21 has been passed by the Senate vote
The Texas State Senate has passed the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Bill SB 21 with a vote of 25 in favor and 5 against. Subsequently, SB 21 needs to be submitted to the Texas House of Representatives where it will be assigned to relevant committees for review, amendment, and hearings. If the House makes amendments to SB 21, the Senate must agree with these changes; otherwise both parties need to coordinate a final version through a conference committee. The final version agreed upon by both sides needs separate votes for approval. After passing through both the House and Senate, the bill will be sent to the Governor of Texas for signature. The governor can choose to sign this bill into law.
