Former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Michael Piwowar stated in an interview that compared to other cryptocurrency-related issues, Memecoins might be cases that the SEC can resolve more easily. He said that Memecoins could be considered as commodities, but the Commodity Futures Trading Commission must publicly declare this.
