Epoch 755 of Solana has ended, proposal SIMD-0228 did not pass
PANews reported on March 14 that Solana's Epoch 755 has ended, and the SIMD-0228 proposal did not pass. Although the chain voting reached a quorum, the proportion of support votes (Yes votes) to the total number of support and opposition votes (Yes + No) was 61.4%, which is lower than the required approval rate of 66.67% (i.e., 2/3).
Data from Dune Analytics shows that 910 validators have voted on this proposal. Of these, 43.6% supported it, while 27.4% opposed it and another 3.3% abstained.
