SlowMist Cosine: User Loses Over $20,000 in Assets Due to Chrome Recommendation Leading to Phishing Site
Foresight News reports that a cryptocurrency user had their assets stolen while accessing the ChangeNOW exchange using the Chrome browser, due to clicking on a phishing site automatically recommended by the browser. The phishing site used Punycode technology to spoof the domain name (with an abnormal letter "e"), leading the user to mistakenly lose over $20,000.
