According to a report by "Crypto in America," the U.S. House leadership plans to introduce an updated version of the Digital Asset Market Structure Bill during a "pro forma session" on Thursday, May 28, 2025. This bill is widely regarded as the foundational blueprint for regulating the $34 trillion cryptocurrency industry in the United States and will be formally submitted during a procedural session while Congress is in recess.
Previously, a discussion draft of the bill was jointly released by high-ranking Republican lawmakers, including Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill. The House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on the updated bill on June 4 and may conduct a markup review on June 10.
