Crypto KOL: While Block One Invested in Bullish, Bullish Does Not Own Its Bitcoin
Crypto KOL Willy Woo revealed on X that, if he remembers correctly, Block One invested in CoinDesk’s parent company Bullish in order to control their own Bitcoin custody solution. Block One is now a family office, and all other shareholders’ stakes have been acquired. Bullish does not own Block One’s Bitcoin. Bullish has previously submitted a confidential IPO application to U.S. regulators, but details such as the proposed listing timeline and fundraising amount have not yet been disclosed. According to community users, as of 2024, Bullish holds 164,000 BTC.
