On July 15, it was reported by ZOOMER that Aqua 1, the mysterious company that donated $100 million to the Trump-related project WLFI, has been revealed as the malicious market maker Web3Port. Before this news broke, Aqua 1 co-founder Dave Lee stated, "Today I discovered some factual errors in reports about myself and Aqua 1, and I have contacted the relevant journalists for clarification." Previously, Web3Port had been accused of engaging in malicious market making for one of its portfolio projects on a certain exchange.
