A user loses $1.23 million in assets after falling victim to a phishing website
Show original
According to Foresight News, Cos (Yuxian), founder of SlowMist, tweeted that a user lost assets worth $1.23 million after searching for "aave" on Google and clicking the first search result, which turned out to be a phishing website. Reportedly, the phishing site exploited Uniswap's multicall mechanism to authorize the user's LP NFT to a phishing contract, after which the assets were transferred. Cos reminded users that as market activity heats up, phishing risks are also increasing, and urged everyone to remain vigilant about cybersecurity threats.
