A Satoshi-era wallet dormant for 14.4 years has awakened, transferring 150 bitcoin worth approximately $16.56 million.
ChainCatcher news, according to Onchain Lens, a bitcoin wallet dating back to the Satoshi Nakamoto era has recently resumed activity. The wallet holds a total of 4,000 BTC (approximately $440.4 million), of which 150 BTC (about $16.56 million) have been transferred to a new address.
On-chain data shows that this whale has also been selling bitcoin over the long term through another wallet. That address previously received 4,050 BTC (4,000 + 50) from the currently active wallet, indicating that they may belong to the same early holder or entity.
