Securitize, a prominent tokenization platform backed by financial giants BlackRock and Morgan Stanley, has entered into a strategic partnership with Plume, a Layer-2 blockchain focused on real-world assets (RWAs).

The collaboration introduces institutional-grade tokenized assets into Plume’s Nest staking protocol, significantly expanding Securitize’s presence in decentralized finance (DeFi) . Plume’s network grants access to over 280,000 RWA holders, reportedly the largest community of such investors globally. This integration offers a robust, on-chain venue for these assets to move, trade, and generate yield at scale, backed by Securitize’s rigorous regulatory framework, ensuring transparency, auditability, and compliance.

Plume’s Nest protocol enhances liquidity, distribution, and regulatory trust
Plume’s Nest staking protocol empowers investors to move, trade, and earn yield on tokenized assets within a regulated, composable DeFi environment. Supporting this ecosystem is Bluprynt’s Know-Your-Issuer verification system, which strengthens transparency and investor trust. Teddy Pornprinya, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer of Plume, emphasised that the on-chain world follows traditional market principles where broad distribution determines scalability . Tokenized assets require liquidity, reach, and composability, which Plume is uniquely positioned to provide.
The rollout will begin with Hamilton Lane funds and expand throughout 2026, targeting a capital deployment of $100 million. As part of the partnership, Solv Protocol, a Bitcoin
finance platform, plans to invest up to $10 million in Plume’s RWA vaults, broadening yield opportunities for BTC-based assets with regulated, real-world exposure. Ryan Chow, Co-founder and CEO of Solv Protocol, stressed the importance of Bitcoin’s role in evolving yield-bearing markets:
“As regulated on-chain markets emerge, bitcoin will underpin a new generation of yield, credit, and liquidity infrastructure, where demand for yield-bearing bitcoin with RWA-backed yields replaces passive treasuries as the next phase of institutional adoption.”
Securitize and BNY Mellon launched the Securitize Tokenized AAA CLO Fund (STAC), the first tokenized fund of its kind, offering institutional investors on-chain access to highly rated, U.S. dollar-denominated collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). BNY Mellon acts as custodian and sub-adviser, providing institutional oversight, with a $100 million anchor investment from Grove Finance. This venture uses blockchain to increase the accessibility and transparency of institutional credit, aligning with Securitize’s goal of introducing resilient, yield-focused financial products into the digital asset ecosystem.
