Publicly listed company NCT announces strategic acquisition of Starks Network, entering the on-chain digital asset infrastructure sector
ChainCatcher news, according to GlobeNewswire, Intercont (Cayman) Limited (NASDAQ: NCT) announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire a minority stake of less than 50% in Singapore Web3 technology company Starks Network Ltd, and will jointly promote the development of the zCloak Network project, officially moving towards the deployment of on-chain digital asset infrastructure.
zCloak Network specializes in AI digital identity, enterprise-level self-custody wallets, stablecoin payments, and AI-encrypted payment technology, and has received investment from top institutions such as a certain exchange. The two parties will cooperate to apply Web3 technology to the digital transformation of payments and business processes in shipping trade, accelerating the industry's intelligent upgrade.
NCT and Starks stated that this acquisition is an important step in advancing the group's long-term strategy and exploring cross-industry deployment. Both parties will jointly promote the implementation of enterprise-level Web3 technology in the global shipping and trade sectors.
