The Avalanche Foundation announced plans to purchase its on-chain Meme tokens
On December 29th, according to an official announcement, the Avalanche Foundation announced its intention to recognize and encourage culture and amusement symbolized by Meme-like tokens through the "Culture Catalyst" special program. The foundation plans to create a collection by purchasing selected Meme-like tokens based on the Avalanche chain. This initiative aims to complement the ongoing involvement of the Avalanche Foundation in the Avalanche ecosystem, including NFTs, RWAs, and other types of encrypted assets, broadening its investment portfolio and covering more comprehensive possibilities. The selection process for this collection is based on several key criteria, including holder count, liquidity threshold, project maturity, fair launch principles, and overall social sentiment.
