ING’s former digital assets chief Hervé François joins Investcorp to lead its first blockchain fund

Hervé François, former digital asset director of digital bank ING, announced on LinkedIn that he has joined alternative investment giant Investcorp and plans to lead its first blockchain fund. It is reported that the fund is led by Investcorp's Abu Dhabi office, independent of Investcorp Technology Partners and complementary to it. The latter's investment strategy focuses on technology opportunities in the mid-to-low-end markets. At present, an Investcorp spokesperson has not immediately responded to a request for comment on this matter.
