Solana Foundation Strategy Director: 3 methods including SWQoS can improve the possibility of transaction inclusion on Solana
According to news on April 13, Austin Federa, director of strategy at the Solana Foundation, posted on the (Transaction inclusion) Possibilities: 1. Priority Fees: Used when calculation/inclusion is the bottleneck. Similar to increasing the gas fee of other networks, it is global; 2. Local Fee markets: Used when state contention (multiple people trying to do the same thing) becomes a bottleneck, it is local; 3. Stake weighting QoS (Stake Weighted QoS): Sybil/spam identification engine, which can be used together with PF/LFM or alone, and is global. It’s not either/or with Solana. These features will provide operators with optionality: depending on their setup, priorities and configuration, there are multiple ways to achieve similar goals, in addition to other non-protocol solutions such as MEV repeaters. There is no doubt that the V0.5 version deployed now will have some externalities that will have to be addressed through additional protocol governance over time. However, it believes it is best to deliver some solutions and make adjustments when everyone can see the same real data.
