QCP Capital: ETH options trading volume reached 185 this week, but actual price performance was disappointing
ChainCatcher news, according to QCP Capital analysis, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the 19b-4 form of eight spot ETH ETF issuers, including Blackrock and Fidelity, but trading cannot start until the S-1 form is approved. The market was expecting a big bang this week with options volume as high as 185, however, price action did disappoint, causing front-end volatility to fall below 60. While it’s just a matter of time now for ETH spot ETFs to trade, it could be a while. Trading desks have been seeing continued demand for longer-dated ETH call options as investors take the opportunity to build more long ETH positions.
