EthSign announces SignPass, providing convenience to users through on-chain verifiable IDs compatible with passport systems

According to official sources, EthSign has announced the launch of SignPass. SignPass provides convenience to the community through a chain-verified ID that is compatible with existing passport systems. All SignPass credentials will be registered on the chain through the Sign Protocol in an encrypted manner and can be used for permanent residency in Sierra Leone. Each holder will receive a physical ID card that meets the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization machine-readable passport (MRP) and provides a unique QR code linked to blockchain records. Anyone who needs to verify the validity of their SignPass can scan the QR code. This system not only ensures security and transparency, but also aims to seamlessly integrate with international passport standards.
