In the past 24 hours, both BTC and ETH futures have seen an increase in trading volume and open interest. BTC open interest rose by 1.64% to $35.22 billion and ETH by 2.71% to $16.95 billion. BTC trading volume surged by 56.36% to $53.67 billion, while ETH's volume increased by 36.28% to $23.47 billion.

BTC futures experienced more short liquidations ($17.28 million) than long ($10.80 million), whereas ETH futures saw significantly higher long liquidations ($31.73 million) compared to short liquidations ($4.22 million).

Despite these liquidation trends, BTC's long/short ratio remained relatively balanced at 50.57%/49.43%, while ETH's leaned slightly towards shorts at 48.88%/51.12%.
