StarkWare CEO: Starknet to open up pledges by the end of the year
Starknet will open up pledging on its ecosystem by the end of 2024, StarkWare CEO EliBen-Sasson said at the ETHCC Summit in Brussels, Belgium.Ben-Sasson presented the community with a proposal for improvements to Starknet, suggesting that users have the option of becoming a pledgee or not, with the reward for participation proportional to the number of pledged STRK token count proportional to the number of tokens. If the proposal is approved by the community, a pledge test network on Starknet will launch soon and enter the main network in the last quarter of 2024. Pledgers must lock their tokens for 21 days before they can withdraw their funds.
