Veridise: The likelihood of identifying key issues in ZK project audits is twice that of regular audits
BlockBeats news, on July 22, according to The Block report, blockchain security company Veridise released a report stating that the possibility of finding key issues in audits of Zero Knowledge (ZK) projects is twice that of other types of audits.
According to a report, Veridise analyzed 1605 vulnerabilities found in its recent 100 audits. On average, about 16 issues were discovered per audit while the average number for Zero Knowledge audits was slightly higher at 18.
However, when focusing on critical vulnerabilities, Veridise found that 55% (11 out of 20) of Zero Knowledge audits contained key issues. In contrast, the proportion for other types of audits (including smart contracts, wallet integration, blockchain implementation and relays) was only at 27.5% (22 out of 80).
