Amazon plans to use Anthropic's Claude AI model to remodel Alexa
According to Reuters, Amazon's iconic virtual assistant Alexa is set to be updated in October this year, and will primarily be supported by the Claude model from Anthropic instead of its own AI. Five insiders told Reuters that this upgrade would require a fee. Amazon will charge users between $5 and $10 per month to use its updated "excellent" version of Alexa, while keeping the "classic" version free.
