On October 19, Shen Zhulin, deputy director of the National Data Bureau, said at the 2024 Global Digital Business Conference that it will be based on the current stage of development of the data market, focusing on clarifying the rules and making up for shortcomings, establishing and improving the data property rights system as soon as possible, and supporting the introduction of specific rules on the registration of data property rights, quality management, definition of responsibility, and compliance management, in order to provide escort for the prosperous development of the national integrated data market. In his speech at the conference, Shen Zhulin mentioned that he would support conditional regions such as Shanghai to carry out experimental exploration of blockchain, data space and other technical routes, reduce data circulation and transaction costs, and provide guarantees for the safe, compliant and orderly circulation and utilization of data.
