Harris may speak later
In the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Republican U.S. presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump has now secured 277 electoral votes, more than the 270 electoral votes needed to win the election to lock up an early victory, according to calculations by several U.S. media outlets, including the Associated Press, NBC, and FoxNews.com. Harris, on the other hand, has 224 votes for the time being. Harris' team has not spoken out on the results so far, but campaign sources say Harris should be speaking to supporters later on the 6th.
