Republican Dave McCormick wins Pennsylvania Senate seat
On November 8th, Republican Dave McCormick defeated incumbent Democratic Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, winning a Senate seat. Currently, the Republican Party has at least 53 seats, with two more races to come in Arizona and Nevada. However, the two Democratic candidates vying for these seats are currently in the lead.
It is reported that McCormick received support from Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and openly supports the cryptocurrency industry, although he did not receive support from any major cryptocurrency-affiliated PACs.
