Bitget obtains Salvadoran Bitcoin Service Provider (BSP) license
PANews reported on December 16th, according to Bitget's official news, the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador (Banco Central de Reserva) has recently granted Bitget a Bitcoin Service Provider (BSP) license. At the same time, Bitget is applying for a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) license from the National Commission of Digital Assets in El Salvador to further expand its service range. To strengthen its layout in the Latin American market, Bitget plans to establish a local team in El Salvador to support business operations and enhance user experience.
Bitget Chief Business Officer Min Lin said: "Latin America is at the core of crypto innovation with huge potential. As the first country to set Bitcoin as legal tender, El Salvador plays an important role in promoting industry development. Obtaining a BSP license is an important step in Bitget's global strategy. We are committed to promoting the development of this region's crypto ecosystem by providing safe, convenient and innovative services and contributing towards financial inclusion and regional economic growth."
