Fed's March rate cut probability just 1% after PPI data release
The U.S. February PPI hit the smallest increase since July 2024, according to the CME ‘Fed Watch’ data, PPI data released after the Federal Reserve March probability of unchanged interest rates is 99.0%, the probability of a 25 basis point cut in interest rates is only 1.0%, the current distance from the next FOMC meeting there are about 6 days.
