Trump calls for rethink on sanctions that threaten dollar's status: US treasury secretary
U.S. Treasury Secretary Ben Bessent said that President Donald Trump asked to rethink the sanctions regime that threatens the status of the dollar as a reserve currency. In an interview with Fox News Besant said, ‘President Trump gave me a directive to rethink the sanctions regime.
