According to ChainCatcher, Bitget's 17th On-Chain Trading Competition is about to begin. During the event, users who trade W tokens and rank among the top 500 or top 1,000 in cumulative on-chain trading volume will receive an airdrop reward of 10 or 20 BGB, respectively. The total prize pool is 25,000 BGB.

The event will run from July 7, 19:00:00 to July 11, 19:00:00 (UTC+8).

Oil tanker tracking agency TankerTrackers said on Sunday that the average daily crude oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz over the past seven days stood at 3.8 million barrels. The agency noted that this figure has declined from the 9.8 million barrels per day recorded during the period when the Iran-US memorandum of understanding was in effect, although that memorandum was actually valid for only 25 days.
