Ethereum Foundation denies selling 2,794.87 ETH yesterday
According to ChainCatcher, Hsiao-Wei Wang, Co-Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation, stated that the address which sold 2,794.87 ETH yesterday was not operated by the Foundation. She noted that around 9% of the ETH supply was allocated to the Foundation during the 2014 ICO, but the Foundation currently holds less than 0.3% of the total supply. Therefore, over the past ten years, there may be a large number of addresses associated with the Foundation.
Earlier reports indicated that an address linked to the Ethereum Foundation had just sold another 1,100 ETH, with a total of $12.78 million worth of ETH sold within two hours.
