ZachXBT: A Ripple community user had 1.2 million XRP stolen but no assistance will be provided; users are advised to strengthen their own security awareness.
ChainCatcher news, "on-chain detective" ZachXBT posted on X that a Ripple community user was stolen 1.2 million XRP. The hacker has bridged the tokens from Ripple to Tron and merged them into another new address, then transferred them to Huione OTC (an illegal market in Southeast Asia). However, ZachXBT reiterated that he will not provide assistance to Ripple community users. Although losing funds is unfortunate, it is by no means his responsibility. It is important to self-educate so as not to fall victim to these simple scams.
