MoonPay receives approval from New York regulators to offer cryptocurrency custody and OTC trading services
ChainCatcher reported that MoonPay has received approval from the New York State regulator NYDFS for a Limited Purpose Trust Charter, allowing it to provide cryptocurrency custody and over-the-counter trading services in New York State. MoonPay had previously obtained a BitLicense. Currently, the only other entities holding both of these regulatory licenses are a certain exchange, PayPal, Ripple, and NYDIG.
