BitMine Immersion may have executed a fresh Ethereum purchase. According to data tracked by Lookonchain, wallets linked to the company acquired 41,946 ETH worth about $131 million on Thursday.
Earlier this week, reports suggested that BitMine may have purchased $55 million worth of Ethereum. A few days later, a wallet linked to BitMine withdrew $91 million in ETH from Kraken ahead of the Fusaka upgrade.
The Ethereum-focused treasury firm led by Fundstrat’s Tom Lee reported holding more than 3.7 million ETH in its latest disclosure. At this pace, the company appears well on track toward its target of accumulating 5% of the total ETH supply.
Lee has shown a strong belief in Ether’s dominance in future financial systems due to its smart contract capabilities and role in creating new financial products.
BitMine plans to deploy its MAVAN staking solution in early 2026, maintaining its lead among crypto treasuries globally.
