U.S. stock market opens: Dow Jones down 0.1%, Nike up 3%
ChainCatcher News, according to Golden Ten Data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 0.1%, the S&P 500 Index dropped by 0.03%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index declined by 0.02%. Intel fell by 3% following reports that Nvidia has suspended testing of its 18A process technology. Nike rose by 3% after Apple CEO Tim Cook purchased 50,000 shares of Nike stock for approximately $2.95 million. Denali Therapeutics surged by 38% as Sanofi acquired Denali Therapeutics for $2.2 billion.
