Delin Securities receives approval from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to upgrade its Type 1 license, allowing it to offer virtual asset trading services
Foresight News reported that Delin Holdings (01709.HK) has issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary, Delin Securities (Hong Kong) Limited, in which it holds a 70% stake, has received conditional approval from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to provide virtual asset trading services under an omnibus account arrangement. However, this is subject to Delin Securities accepting certain conditions attached to its existing Type 1 (dealing in securities) regulated activity license. Delin Securities has accepted these conditions and will launch virtual asset trading services upon receiving formal approval from the SFC. The company is committed to advancing the upgrade of Delin Securities' Type 4 (advising on securities) regulated activity license, which is currently undergoing final review by the SFC. The company will make an appropriate announcement upon receiving the relevant approval from the SFC.
