Fusion: Arbitrum network USDC Fusion Optimizer vault attacked, resulting in a loss of $336,000
Odaily reported that Fusion has released a security update: the IPOR USDC Fusion Optimizer has an Arbitrum Vault vulnerability. The IPOR team was notified on January 6 and discovered a vulnerability that resulted in a loss of $336,000 USDC. The exploit targeted a specific older version of the Fusion Vault. Due to its unique configuration, this was the only vault susceptible to this particular attack vector. The loss accounts for less than 1% of the total funds secured by Fusion. They are working with Security Alliance to track and recover the funds. IPOR DAO will cover the shortfall from its treasury. All affected depositors will be fully compensated.
